Groceries rising.
Trump still lying.
Dodging. Stoking.
Violence smoking.
Musk run amuck.
Chaos struck.
Diversity gone.
Rights withdrawn.
Tax breaks stack.
Autocrats act.
Silence loud.
Dissent not allowed.
Culture of fear.
Despair draws near.
Repress. Suppress.
Free speech? Less.
But the revolution was televised.
Black. Bold. Unapologized.
Black men locked,
Yet flags still fly.
I, too, am America.
We built this land.
On stolen soil,
On red clay sand.
White sands shift.
Black hands lift.
Brown feet march.
Voices resist.
Aquarius tide,
No room for pride.
Dissolve the me,
In the ocean of we.
Fighting back.
Hearts intact.
Rooted deep,
We rise in community.
